What a delightful start to the day. My family of four had such a great breakfast experience that we came two days in a row while visiting the area and to be honest, we will probably be back again tomorrow. The food is delicious. The service was intuitive and pretty quick even with a bit of a crowd. Service was very friendly and they seemed to know what I needed before I did! I was curious about the creamy mushroom toast, wasn't sure if I should veer off my usual rotation of tried and true breakfast orders but I'm so glad I did. It was savory and hit the spot on our first visit. I was wanting something sweet today and tried the French toast. Delicious. Wrangling two kids at meal times can be tricky but this spot was great. They had a kids box they brought to the table with some coloring books, Legos and play doh which kept the kids busy the whole meal was a dream for a tired mom. I noticed a couple highchairs to the side if you have little ones. There was space to the side to store our strollers. Bathrooms were clean and close to wash up. It's the simple things that really make this a special spot. My latte was made well. The food is presented beautifully, edible flowers really add to the dishes and are a nice visual touch. I know it sounds silly but all these little things make or break a place when you're spending money and Plumm Cafe really made us feel fancy and special. Cheers to the staff who went above and beyond. Also whoever is in charge of produce I would like to know the secret. Everything was perfectly ripe and full of flavor. Thank you for taking such good care of us. I highly recommend making a trip here if you have a little time to enjoy yourself or want to impress a friend/date/family etc. Social groups need to have this space on the radar.

We had a lovely ladies brunch here this morning and it was perfect We reserved a table outside and enjoyed the peaceful outdoor area. The food was delicious! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable experience, we will be back

A local gem ! I came for breakfast after a long run and it was perfect. The omelet was very good, a massive portion; the match tasted so good and the brownie is a must try, I'll come back for it ! Not to mention the staff which is so attentive and nice. They also have a garden in the back (which I didn't use as it was raining), that I'd like to try in the summer. I recommend this place and will be back for sure.

We sat in the rear garden, enjoying the sunshine and listening to the birds singing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The coffee was lovely, and the Plumm Bene was great — especially the crispy hash browns with herbs, which added an extra tasty touch.

What a delightful little hidden gem in the heart of Takapuna. Don't be fooled by the tiny area at the front, there's a hidden garden area down a side passage. We had a girls' lunch and I enjoyed an Asian Prawn Salad with extra avo, a large yummy flat white, a pot of ginger tea and a Biscoff cheesecake (which I shared) and my bill came to just over 50 bucks. Well worth it! Explore this Takapuna treasure for yourself

This has become our favourite cafe. The staff are thoughtful, attentive, extremely pleasant and friendly. We like to sit in the outdoor garden area and we take our small dog with us, which is a bonus. The outdoor area is pleasant and so enjoyable. The staff recognise us, remember our orders from previous visits, they remember our names and make us feel welcome every time we visit. I highly recommend Plumm cafe! The food is delicious too. Some of the dishes we’ve tried: eggs on toast sometimes with bacon, the big breakfast which is large so make sure you bring your appetite for this one, eggs Benedict, smash avocado, creamy bacon mushroom. Great options available for vegetarians as well. Try them out when you’re in the area! You won’t be disappointed.

Such a cute and cozy cafe! There are more seats in the hidden garden at the back which is so peaceful! And the best thing is that it’s dog friendly!!! I’m always on the hunt to find dog friendly food places!! We had the creamy bacon mushroom which was so good!! One of the best creamy mushrooms I’ve had!! So flavourful and perfectly balanced! The ratio of bread to sauce was perfect! The service was also great! They were so friendly, lovely and accommodating!

Had an omelette with salmon, the ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the colors were so vibrant it looked delicious even before the first bite. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Definitely want to come back again!
